Our group explored the interaction between national monuments’ environmental side and proposed policy changes.

Morgan Danker researched the controversy on the proposal from Interior Secretary, Ryan Zinke, to President Trump of changing national monument boundaries and how changes could effect the communities around them.

Maddie Meaders conducted a review of Interior Secretary, Ryan Zinke’s, recommendations to President Trump to shrink the boundaries of several National Monuments. I evaluated the changes that this proposed policy could have on the environment, the economy, and the community.
